Exercise Overview and Implementation
Between 29 September and 2 October 2025, Intart Design, in partnership with Media Show, delivered comprehensive interpreting services, along with technical and logistical support, for the international civil protection exercise “BORDER SHIELD 25.”
This event was organised by the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova, with the support of the EU CBRN Centres of Excellence, and aimed to strengthen international cooperation and enhance response capacities for emergency situations at the border.
Operational teams and experts from 11 countries participated in the exercise, alongside representatives of national and international institutions and specialists in civil protection, border security, and CBRN response.
Locations
The exercise was conducted at the following strategic sites:
- Ungheni International Railway Station;
- Ungheni Railway Border Crossing Point.
These locations provided a realistic operational environment for the simulation of complex scenarios.
Intart Design Contribution
Working in close collaboration with Media Show, Intart Design supported the successful implementation of the exercise by providing:
- simultaneous and consecutive interpreting services in training settings;
- mobile interpreting support using portable tour guide systems for outdoor activities;
- technical and logistical support tailored to operational needs;
- continuous monitoring and technical assistance throughout the event.
The successful outcome of the exercise was made possible by the professionalism of the teams involved and the effective cooperation among all partners.
